Destination Jungle

Summer Fun! It's free! It's fun! It's fabulous! Stories! Gaming! Adventures! Movies! Prizes! Friends! Crafts! Air conditioning! This year's theme is Destination Jungle: where will your library take you today? Our summer program coordinators, Katie and Chelsey, have prepared a summer of great activities for kids of all ages.  Check our website (www.library.quintewest.com) or the library bulletin board for exciting, free summer programs coming up at both branches of the Quinte West Public Library or call 613 394-3381 x3311 for more information. Registration for summer programs begins June 21st. Kick off your adventure by voting for a new jungle hair colour for Mrs. K. Each time you bring in a full time sheet or sign up for a program you can vote for her to be a zebra, giraffe, leopard, tiger,or parrot. Final votes are due July 30th and her new look will be revealed on August 3rd.

Be a part of the TD Summer Reading Club at the Quinte West Public Library where you win prizes just for time spent reading (books, comics, magazines, newspapers, or even the back of the cereal box!). Registration for the reading club begins June 21st and continues all summer long. Going away? Take the time sheets with you! When you come back from your vacation, trade in your filledtime sheets for fun prizes.
